Seller Scope ("we," "us," or "our") is a sales analytics application that connects to Amazon Selling Partner APIs to help Amazon sellers monitor their sales performance. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app and website.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

• Account information: Your name and email address when you register.
• Amazon selling data: Sales figures, order history, units sold, revenue, FBA fees, inventory levels, product ratings, and product information retrieved through the Amazon SP-API on your behalf.
• Product cost data: Cost per unit information you manually enter into the app to calculate profit margins.
• Payment information: Subscription billing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your credit card or payment details.
• Usage data: Basic information about how you use the app, such as features accessed and session duration, used to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Display your Amazon sales data within your Seller Scope dashboard
• Calculate and present sales totals, profit, and FBA fees by day, month, and year
• Enable date-based order lookup and product history
• Power the Ask Scope AI assistant with your sales context
• Generate AI-powered weekly and monthly summaries of your business performance
• Send push notifications for alerts, summaries, and milestone celebrations
• Manage your account and subscription
• Respond to support requests
• Improve and maintain the application

3. AI Features — Ask Scope

Seller Scope includes an AI assistant called "Ask Scope" powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you use the Ask Scope feature:

• Your sales data (units, revenue, profit, product names) is sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses to your questions.
• Your questions and the AI's responses are processed in real time and are not stored by us beyond your current session.
• Anthropic processes this data subject to their own Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it.
• We do not use your sales data to train AI models.
• No personally identifiable information about your customers is sent to the AI — only your aggregate sales figures and product performance data.

You can choose not to use the Ask Scope feature at any time. All other app features remain fully functional without it.

4. Amazon SP-API Data

Seller Scope accesses your Amazon selling data through Amazon's Selling Partner API. This data is used exclusively to power your personal dashboard and AI assistant. We do not sell, share, or use your Amazon data for any purpose other than displaying it to you and powering your in-app features.

Your Amazon API credentials and refresh tokens are stored securely using industry-standard encryption and are never shared with third parties.

5. Subscription and Payments

Seller Scope subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store payment card information.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or Amazon data with third parties, except:

• Anthropic's Claude API — for AI assistant features only, as described in Section 3
• When required by law or valid legal process
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Seller Scope, our users, or the public
• With your explicit consent

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, secure encrypted storage of API credentials and tokens, and strict access controls limiting who can access your data.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account information and cached sales data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting hello@sellerscopeapp.com. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Revoke Amazon API access at any time via Amazon Seller Central
• Cancel your subscription at any time via Apple App Store or Google Play
• Opt out of AI features while continuing to use the rest of the app
• Opt out of any marketing communications

10. Push Notifications

Seller Scope may send push notifications for sale alerts, inventory warnings, hijacker detections, weekly summaries, monthly summaries, and milestone celebrations. You can manage notification preferences within the app Settings or through your device's notification settings.

11. Children's Privacy

Seller Scope is intended for Amazon sellers and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@sellerscopeapp.com.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use of Seller Scope after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
